IF Weaves Magic and Mysteries in Wheel of Time Main Titles

‘The wheel weaves as the wheel wills. . .” 

The tapestry-like opening sequence for Wheel of Time starts with the breaking of the world. A single strand of horizon snaps, bursting into an array of jewel-toned threads as they layer into a loom of cosmic scale. The title sequence, created by Imaginary Forces (IF), embraces the weaving themes of magic and matriarchy that are present throughout the show. 

IF Creative Director Karin Fong and her team created artful interpretations to depict the seven Ajahs, powerful women leaders who are denoted by a specific color based on their role or specialty, pulling visual inspiration from across a wide spectrum of cultures and ethnicities to reflect the diverse world of the story.
