Left Field Labs ECD Shane Zucker and VR Lead Developer Justin Molinari recently penned a piece for Post Magazine about VR and immersive technology's unique capabilities to create empathetic connections.

Last year, Left Fields Labs and ad agency RK Venture used VR to tackle a topic that has a huge emotional tie-in -- drunk driving -- as part of the New Mexico Department of Transportation’s ongoing ENDWI campaign. Bringing a real actor’s performance into a virtual experience was a game changer because of the emotional connection it creates. For ENDWI, the combination of rich immersion with compelling non-linear storytelling proved to affect the participants at a visceral level -- with the goal of changing behavior further down the road.
