Reviving Past Techniques: REVERSE Director Kim Jacobsen

AdForum recently spoke with REVERSE Director Kim Jacobsen about his side hustle of rebuilding and renovating his early 19th-century home -- a project he and his wife have been working on for a decade. Similar to a commercial shoot, he says there's an art to finding the right tools and a creative approach to making things happen without cutting any corners.

Says Kim: “[My side hustle] balances out my occupation as a director. Much of my day-to-day work is screen work. While pitching, pre-producing, shooting, and post-producing, I am always looking at a screen. My side hustle allows me to use both my hands and brain, connecting my mind and body in a very satisfying way. It simply feels right.”
